It took them 483 hours of online learning, 100 hours of an externship and 40 hours of lab work, but five members of Team BNHC have earned their Medical Assistant certificates after completing a special program provided by the health center. Darlene Andrade Fonseca, Helder Andrade-Gomes, Ana Moreira, Maria Pereira and Ruth Prime received their MA certificates in a graduation ceremony on June 12, 2023, after completing a Career Step program financed by a grant from the Mass. League of Community Health Centers.
